This just reminds me of how heavy the Christmas balls are and how they weigh down the branches. I embossed the ball with glitter and the cap on the ball is embossed with silver. I also stamped one extra branch out on card stock and popped it out on the card...I had to have a place to hang my decoration!
Oh, such an easy card. I made a strip of bird cages on my cuttlebug and trimmed it with a piece of real red ribbon. I stamped "Merry Christmas" and the two little birds that escaped with SU Real Red.
I used an embossing folder on the black card stock to get these great Christmas greetings on this card. Then I decided to use the brayer and the white pigment ink to bring out the words. They showed up a grayish light blue. I could have gone over it another time, but I liked how it looked. I added a die cut snow flake with a silver brad and another greeting.
Personally, I think it's too early for Christmas (what happened to Thanksgiving?!) but the women running "Cards That Care" need them early and I figured it was for a good cause, so here they are!
